Who runs this site. Hamulus Bureau is a short-form video editing studio operated by Tabish in India. For privacy requests or questions about a project, contact hamulusbureau@gmail.com.
Enquiry information. The contact form collects your name, email address, project type, brand or social link, optional preferred deadline, project details, and the required rights and privacy confirmations. The form does not accept file uploads. Please share only links you are allowed to share, and avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for the project.
How information is used and stored. Enquiries are saved in the password-protected Admin → Inquiries area in the website database hosted for Hamulus Bureau, so our team can respond and manage the requested work. A notification containing the enquiry is sent to the studio contact email through Resend (email delivery provider); the receiving email inbox may also retain a copy. Information is used to respond, prepare a quote, carry out an agreed project, and maintain necessary business records. Enquiry records remain in Admin → Inquiries until we choose to delete them; there is no automatic expiry. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing the address above. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or to resolve a payment or project dispute. The final rendered video held by Hamulus Bureau is kept for 14 days after delivery, then deleted. Please download and keep your own copy within that period; later re-delivery may not be available. A portfolio copy you separately approve in writing is covered by that separate permission. Footage and working files are kept only as long as needed for the agreed project or required business or dispute records, then removed. This does not delete files or links held in your own or a third-party storage account. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. External video and social links, including Facebook, are opened only when you follow those links and are then subject to the external service’s own privacy terms.
An enquiry is not a booking. Sending the form does not create a contract or reserve editing time. Before work begins, both sides must confirm the deliverables and scope, fee and payment schedule, delivery date, and included revision in writing. The project-specific written confirmation controls those details if it differs from these general terms.
Fees, changes, and cancellation. The agreed fee covers only the scope confirmed in writing. A different style, new footage, additional versions, or other work outside that scope may require a new quote; no extra work or fee is added without your written approval. Either side may cancel before editing starts without a cancellation fee, except for expenses you separately approved as non-refundable in writing. If you cancel after editing begins, you must pay for the work completed up to cancellation, calculated using the stages or proportions stated in the written quote. Any advance payment is applied to that amount; any excess is returned, except for expenses you separately approved as non-refundable in writing. Any amount due and its payment date follow the written project confirmation. Hamulus Bureau may pause work while an amount that is due remains unpaid.
Review and delivery. One round of consolidated feedback on the first edit is included. Send the requested corrections together. A new direction, new materials, or further revision rounds may require a separately approved quote. The delivery date assumes you provide materials and feedback on time; delays may require a revised date agreed in writing. After the agreed corrections, we send the final preview with our brand watermark. The clean, unwatermarked export is delivered after all agreed amounts are paid. Editable project files are not included unless the written project confirmation says otherwise.
Rights and permissions. You keep ownership of materials you provide and give Hamulus Bureau permission to use them only to assess and complete the agreed project. You are responsible for having the rights, licences, and releases needed for those materials and for the intended publication, including permissions for people shown or heard. Third-party music, footage, images, graphics, logos, and other assets remain subject to their own licences and are not transferred by these terms. After full payment, any transfer of rights in Hamulus Bureau’s original editing contributions to the final rendered video must be set out in a written rights agreement; it does not transfer third-party rights or editable project files. You are responsible for checking factual claims, legal requirements, and platform rules in the final video before publishing.
Results and portfolio. Editing is provided to the agreed brief; no particular view count, reach, engagement, sales, or platform result is promised. Hamulus Bureau will not use your footage, project materials, or finished work in a portfolio or promotion unless you give permission in writing.
